One whole year of Aiyah. Back in March 2025 we celebrated the shop's first birthday. It's hard to believe it's been a year... it's also hard to believe that it hasn't been longer. This shop was born and our lives changed. Suddenly we were spending so much time in this place, surrounded by new and familiar faces. First time shoppers became regulars. Regulars became friends. A lot has changed in a year.
The physical space is always evolving. We're editing and adapting to suit our needs. Changing out product, updating inventory, adding new fixtures, building upon the foundation we laid 365+ days ago. The heart of this place, however, remains the same. We're here to celebrate artists, creativity, and design. We're here to introduce and provide access to independent brands with the hope that you'll see something inside our little shop that scratches an itch in your heart. We hope that you try on a piece of jewelry or find that perfect new fragrance that feels so right, so you. We hope that you find something that you can carry with you or keep in your sacred spaces everyday that makes you feel more connected to the most authentic parts of yourself.
It might sound woo-woo, dramatic, even. But when you think about those objects that you have and hold dear to you, they mean something. They have a story, and they often times say a lot about who you are and what's important to you. It's all about intentionality. All shopping isn't bad, and we want to make sure you can step into our store and find objects that are vetted and created exclusively by small businesses.
