Jewelry FAQs:

Do you do repairs or resize rings?

  • We only offer repair or resizing services for jewelry purchased from our store. If the jewelry has a defect due to a production error on our part, we will repair it free of charge. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to accept repair requests for items that we do not carry in-store.
  • Not all rings are sizable. To determine if yours is, please bring it in to the store during our open hours or send a clear photo to hello@shopaiyah.com.

     

    I broke my jewelry. Can you fix or replace it?

    • If you purchased the jewelry from us and it can be repaired, we’re happy to help! Repair fees start at $20 and vary depending on the piece. Please note that not all jewelry can be repaired, so we’ll need to assess it first. Jewelry can be durable, but it's not indestructible! We do not replace or refund jewelry that has been damaged due to general wear and tear. Proper care is key for longevity. We offer free repairs on jewelry damaged due to a production error. Bring it in for an assessment! 

     

    What types of metals do you use for your jewelry?

    • We offer a diverse selection of metals to suit various styles and preferences, including:
      • Sterling Silver
      • Gold Plated
      • Gold Vermeil
      • Gold-Filled
      • 14k and 18k Solid Gold
      • Brass and Bronze

     

    My jewelry lost its color or finish, can you fix this?

    • Yes! We offer re-plating services for any gold plated jewelry we carry at Aiyah. We will re-plate it for free if for some reason it is damaged within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, our re-plating fee starts at $20. 

     

    Do you take custom jewelry orders?

    • Yes! Please fill out our Custom Commission Form to get started. All custom jewelry is designed and crafted in-house by our team at By Ren Jewelry.
    • If you'd like to customize an existing By Ren Jewelry design, please contact rachael@byrenjewelry.com.

     

    My size / metal preference isn’t listed. Can I make a request?

    • Absolutely! If you need a different size or have specific metal preferences, please email us. We’ll work with our jewelers to see if we can accommodate your request.

     

    How do I care for my jewelry?

    • For general care, we recommend keeping your jewelry dry and storing it in a safe, air-tight place when not in use. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures. Remove it while showering, sleeping, swimming, or working out. If you need more detailed care instructions for specific jewelry pieces, feel free to email us - hello@shopaiyah.com. 

     

    Do you offer warranties on your jewelry?

    • We will always do our best to repair any jewelry purchased from Aiyah, though not all pieces can be repaired. Please note that we do not offer refunds or replacements for jewelry damaged by the wearer. However, if your jewelry is faulty or breaks due to a production error, we will repair it for free!

     

    General FAQs:

    I am local to Philly. Can I do local pick-up?

    • Yes! Simply select the local pick-up option at checkout. We’ll send you an email when your order is ready for pick-up.

    Do you sell gift cards?
    • Yes, gift cards are available for purchase here.

     

    Do you ship internationally?

    • Yes, we do offer international shipping! Please note that international orders may be subject to customs fees, taxes, or duties upon arrival, which are the responsibility of the customer. Each country is different!

    How long will it take to receive my order?

    • We're a small team packing everything up ourselves, so orders typically ship within 3 to 5 business days. Shipping times vary by provider. We use USPS, UPS, and DHL for international orders. Please note that By Ren Jewelry is made to order, and fabrication takes about 2 to 4 weeks before shipping. If you need your order by a specific date, please email us at hello@shopaiyah.com, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.


      Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?

      • If you need to change your order, please email us at hello@shopaiyah.com as soon as possible. Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement. However, orders for made-to-order jewelry cannot be canceled once the fabrication process has begun.


      Do you offer payment plans?

      • Yes, we do! You can select the option to pay in installments at checkout on our website.
